Turquoise Inlaid Ammonite Heart Pendant

This big beautiful heart is an ammonite, expertly inlaid with turquoise. Ammonites are extinct marine cephalopods with iconic spiral shells that lived from about 240 million years ago until their extinction 65 million years ago. This one has been cut into a generous sized heart, and the beautifully added turquoise inlay makes it an absolute gorgeous piece. It's framed in a thick sterling silver border and held with prongs. A fancy floral design bail finishes it off beautifully.  The length from top of the bail to the bottom point of the heart is 2" and the width is 1 1/2".  This makes a statement.  Included is a substantial 4mm Omega chain in 16" or 18". *Please specify  16” or 18” chain under special instructions at checkout.
