Fossilized Drusy Shell with Amethyst Sterling Pendant

One of a kind statement piece! This fossilized shell is encrusted with drusy quartz and set with faceted light lavender amethysts.  The bale is patterned with a floral motif. It's sold with a tasteful snake chain that matches the round wire frame. The chain is a really special 18" 1.5 mm curved bar chain. These shells are believed to be from variety of gastropod that lived between 50 and 100 million years ago.  Over time, this fossilized material was partly replaced with sparkly quartz, like a little geode inside a fossilized shell.  2 1/2" long from top of bail to bottom point of shell and 1 1/4" wide.  Absolutely unique!
